We spent two weeks in New York City in 2014. We had a chance to explore Statue of Liberty, the 9/11 World Trade Center Memorial, and Times Square. Here are a few of our favorite images from that time.

On our first night in NYC we wandered for a light meal and found Porchetta, a tiny shop with delicious pork sandwiches (and nothing else) on the menu.

One of our first stops was the 9/11 memorial. Extremely well done, and recommended for everyone.

This 4-sided waterfall pool resides where one of the towers fell, surrounded by names of those who died in the attack.

Times Square is an always-on show. This guy posed for photos, and asked for donations after clicking the shutter (they are not allowed to actually charge).

A local park in Chinatown was filled with women playing cards and men playing majong.
