Corpus Christi is a major Christian holiday celebrated throughout Ecuador. Here are a few of our favorite images from the first three years of joining in the celebrations in Cuenca.

There are hundreds of booths around Park Calderon and Catedra; Nueva selling sweets.

Bamboo towers are filled with various fireworks, and then lit within a few feet of the crowd at celebrations in Cuenca, Ecuador

Different tendorers have different castle fireworks designs...some are spinners, others are waterfalls, others are rockets.

Castles are made with bamboo structures, fire cracker strings, many more than 20' high.

No fear as sparks from the burning castle are raining down on man getting his photo taken. There were 4 castles set up around Parque Calderon.

Don't wear nylon around the Castles.
